We are now looking for a Junior IT Project Manager in Sweden, Gothenburg
You will belong to the Project Management Chapter, where you share knowledge and experiences with other PM colleagues to grow, learn and get support. We are approximately 300 Project Managers around the world, around 160 of them located in Sweden.
You'll have access to big spectra of exciting project assignments within the whole Volvo Group - a great opportunity to learn and develop in many areas and technologies.

Junior IT Project Manager - Main activities
Your duties will be to drive the project planning process and mobilize cross-functional teams including external vendors in documentation of scope, schedules, staffing, budgets and defining quality outcomes as described by the initiative sponsors of the assigned projects.
Some activities in this role will be to:
Support the project team and follow up progress towards agreed deliverables and milestones
Report the project progress and potential variances or high risks to a Steering Committee
Identify cross project dependencies and activities
Identify risks and define mitigation plan in a pro-active way
Ensure that the deliverable of the project is aligned with business priorities
Project resource allocation
Take an active role in improving ways of working to maximize customer value output
Who are you?
You're a Project Manager in the beginning of your career. You've 1-3 years of experience from Agile IT projects as Project manager and want to continue your career path within Project management in an international context and in our transformation journey. We also see a value if you've experience from roles such as Scrum Master, Application Consultant, Business Analyst or similar together with your Project manager experience.

A passion for support and motivate teams, planning and stays up to date with IT and Tech
An inclusiveness and the ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity
A clear customer value driven mindset and natural problem-solving skills
The ability to manage dependencies and stakeholder relationships
The ability to be a quick learner and is eager to explore
Solid networking and communication skills
A relevant university degree or similar
