Job description
You will work in an international dynamic environment at the accounting department of Scania Credit AB and report to the Chief Accountant. As you will be working with daily accounting, reconciliations and various investigations you will also play an important role in concluding the company performance in its Group Financial Reporting (in HFM). You will also be assisting with some legal and fiscal external reporting for Scania Credit AB. SRS and process development is something we emphasise, part of your role will therefore be to actively work with the Chief Accountant to streamline the processes within the department. You will also be given opportunities to participate in various projects which involve the accounting department. You will be having contacts with Scania Credit personnel in our various locations, Swedish authorities as well as internal and external suppliers.
Job requirements
The role is suitable for someone who either just finished a bachelor or masters' degree from university or has no more than 2 years of practical experience from a similar accounting role. The role is an excellent stepstone into Scania and we see that you will be having this position for 2-3 years before moving on within Scania Credit or to another part of Scania. Your skills and/or qualities should preferably include:
• Adequate theoretical background on university level
• Preferably some basic experience from accounting gained at a summer internship or your current position
• Very good knowledge in Excel
• Interest in how IT supports a finance department
• Good knowledge in written and spoken English
It would be beneficial if you have experience from:
• A Financial Services company
• HFM and iScala
• Working or studying abroad or working in an international environment
• Process development work
