AGA Gas AB is looking for a Junior Accountant to support the Finance and Accounting Team in Sweden. Focus will be the monthly closing and reporting process but also to participate in improvement projects.
Are you a service-minded, highly motivated person with the wish to develop your accounting skills and at the same time support in our continuous strive for process developments?
As a Junior Accountant you will be part of our Regional Finance and Controlling organisation. You will work closely with colleagues in the local Finance and Accounting Team in Sweden and with the Shared Service Centers of our outsourcing partner IBM in Poland and India, but also with key persons in our operative business. You will report to the Chief Accountant of our main operative entity, AGA Gas AB.
Your main tasks include:
• Checking and booking of electricity, stocks, transport reserve, periodisation of rent and insurance, membership fees etc.
• Reconciliations, archiving and coordination of documentation for auditors (quarterly)
• Support in CAPEX process and customer projects
• Fixed asset assessment - FA schedule update, FA verification process: handle all tasks relating to the collection of information FA assessment, Scrapping FA
• Stock clearing in cooperation with our supply organisation
• Handle statistical inquiries (SCB)
Requirements
You are a self-motivated person with willingness to deal with both routine tasks on the one hand and ad hoc requests and projects on the other. You are analytical, open for changes and like to work towards deadlines. The position requires that you are able to handle stressful situations, have high integrity and good communication skills. Fluency in English and Swedish both written and spoken is mandatory.
You have a University degree in business administration/ finance/accounting or similar. 1 - 2 years working experience in finance and accounting is required. Very good skills in MS Excel are essential and SAP experience is preferable.
The position will be located at our Lidingö office.
