The Propulsion System unit at CEVT is responsible for the development of transmissions and electric propulsion systems and the controls associated with these systems. The Propulsion Control Module Team is responsible for the development of the control systems for new global transmissions and hybrid systems from the early concept phase to industrialization. These transmissions and hybrid systems will be the main technology for the Geely group. Software development is carried out in-house and together with external contractors.
At Propulsion Control we have an opportunity to provide exciting and challenging assignments to develop model-based controls for: Clutch control, Shift control, Drive strategy, Hybrid control, Shift-by wire functions, Functional safety strategies, Transmission OBD, failsafe and reliability functions.
Responsibilities and tasks
You will work in an organization using agile software development methodology and will work within all development steps from idea creation, requirements definition, implementation and verification. Typical duties include designing and developing model-based transmission and hybrid control algorithms, implementing these algorithms in Matlab/Simulink/Targetlink, software integration, test, in-vehicle calibration and demonstration, and production software design and release. This means that you will have full grip of the whole development chain from idea to the tuned production ready function.

Qualification
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge about model based software development or simulation using Matlab/Simulink.
• Enthusiasm for software and the automotive industry.
• Fresh ideas and openness for cross-system thinking, which helps us to develop innovative software solutions according to our vision of leading-edge technology development with the end customer in focus.
• Excellent team and communication skills.
• Knowledge about agile development techniques.
• Initiative, creativity and the drive to work both in team and independently to reach the goals.
• Language: Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian ? European culture
• Driving license type B
