Information about the position
You will be part of the Robotic Milking department, where they create conditions for milking cows without human involvement. They constantly work on developing and improving the quality of products and systems.
Your group consists of 15 mechanical designers, all working with the latest technology in robot development. You 'll focus on the robot arm and work on machine-level coding (both hardware and software) and see the direct results of what you program.

Job duties
The daily work in this team is a mix of concept generation and evaluation, mechanical design, control system design, prototype production, and evaluation all the way into series production. They are also responsible for quality and maintenance throughout the product 's lifespan.
You will also work on:
* Product development from idea to final solution.
* New development (C++ and Linux as the operating system).
* Evaluations in the lab and field experiments of developed concepts.
* Documentation in their CAD and PDM system.
We are looking for someone who
* Has a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics or robotics.
* Has good knowledge of C++ and projects to showcase.
* Has knowledge of CAD and an understanding of kinematic principles and their application in robot systems.
It is advantageous if you have basic knowledge of:
* Sensor technology and its integration in robot systems, as well as knowledge of filtering algorithms such as Kalman filters and their application in data processing.
* Real-time programming techniques and scheduling for time-critical tasks.
As a person, you are structured, enjoy problem-solving, and are collaborative. It is a plus if you can communicate in Swedish and have knowledge/experience of agile working methods.
