In this role you will be responsible for the complete export of air shipments for a portfolio of customers. In cooperation with the team you will ensure that all shipments are being handled smoothly taking the needs of the customer into account. In this function you are not only responsible for coordinating and arranging the transport, but also responsible for arranging all the documentation such as customs documents, issuing Bills of Lading, arranging buying rates and issuing the invoices, as well as making offers / quotations to our customers, agents and offices worldwide. A pro-active approach to take initiative in improving processes within the department is an additional benefit the ideal candidate will possess.

Description of qualifications
• 1 - 3 years working experience in Air Export
• Experience in managing end-to end processes within the freight forwarding industry, especially air export
• Excellent knowledge of the English Language, verbal and written - Additional European languages are an asset
• Knowledge and experience with customs procedures and formalities
• Established track record of dealing with customers and being client focused
• Excellent commercial awareness and insight with strong sales abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a pressurized environment
• No 9 to 5 mentality with an eagerness to excel in a multi-national environment
