HaleyTek is a joint venture between Volvo Cars and ecarx. We're on a mission to develop software for Android-based Infotainment systems, for current and future Volvo and Polestar models. We will also make this software available for other brands, mainly within the Geely group. Our focus is on the platform software that enables navigation, media, voice assistants and other services to run on cutting-edge hardware. Quite simply, we want to change the world.
HaleyTek has just started up their new office at Lindholmen in Gothenburg and today they house around 80 employees but is aiming to grow even more during 2022.
Nexer Tech Talent are now looking to hire five junior software engineers to join HaleyTek via a talent program designed to match the competence needed.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES AT HALEYTEK
You're a developer. You could be from Bombay, Boston or Borås - what's important to us is your skills and character. Hopefully you're an innovator, a challenge magnet, a convention-crusher - someone dedicated to creating meaningful change through your work.

There are two possible opportunities to join HaleyTek via Nexer Tech Talent program; either as a Embedded Software Developer or as a DevOps & Cloud Engineer. See the requirements for each role below.
Embedded Software Developer:
• Have a BSc or MSc in computer science, data science or electrical engineering.
• You have good skills in C++
• A genuine interest for infotainment and embedded systems
DevOps & Cloud Engineer:
• Have a BSc or MSc in computer science, data science or electrical engineering
• Good knowledge within programming, preferably in Java, C# or Python
• You have a great interest in learning more about Android platform development
DETAILS
• The program spans over 12 months and starts in March 2022, if you wish to get started earlier that is possible as well
• The majority of the time you will be spending with your team at HaleyTek
• Once a month you will meet up with the other participants to take part in the learning sessions arranged by Nexer
• After successful participation in the program you will be offered an employment at HaleyTek
