IBD consulting is looking for an experienced Jewelry Designer to develop a fine jewelry collection. The Jewelry Designer will design and develop a sterling based collection that will be brand right and innovative. The Jewelry Designer will manage the entire creative process while upholding design integrity, quality execution, and a successful launch.

Essential Responsibilities and Experiences
• Sketch concepts free-hand or/and in Adobe Illustrator
• Take design direction from VP of Design and understand how to translate it into final product
• Create brand-right product that will perform well at point of sale
• Create new and innovative designs for fine and fashion jewelry
• Present collection designs to the VP of Design and Creative Director
• Market research competitors to identify new trends and opportunities
• Create technical specifications for Product Development team
• Meet with manufacturers and oversee the development of the product
• Work closely with Merchandising and Product Development to ensure target costs are met
• Maintain timely progress reports, completion dates, and product status

Travel
• This position requires limited travel; 0-25%

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3+ years jewelry design experience
• Creative thinking and vision, to produce new ideas
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in Asana or similar online management tools a plus
• Outstanding collaboration skills
• Strong design and color sense
• 3D rendering experience, specifically in Cinema 4D a plus
• Detail orientated
