The business consultant has a key role in the pre-sales process. We translate the customer's challenges into solutions using our systems and methods and thus prove the business value.
The role includes benchmarks and various studies, responding to RFP's and IQ-visits. As a BC working on a pre-sales engagement you are an active part of a team together with sales, and in some cases you are expected to take a leading or coordinating role. BC's are also used for consulting engagements with our customers assessing, improving or developing their installations.
The role will require a lot of travel both within our region but potentially also to support in APAC and the Americas.
To be successful in the role as a BC you need:
• A genuine interest in meeting clients and understanding their challenges
• A desire to deepen the knowledge about how to get the best out of our optimizers
• An interest in understanding the client's business processes and the business case that our products bring to the client
• Strong communication skills. You can explain and communicate a complex material both verbally and in written form.
• You are willing and able to travel
Education, skills and background:
• You have a degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Information Technology)
• Experience from using our Pairing and/or Rostering optimizer.
• Strong skills in coding Rave and Python and you see a challenge in using code as a way of solving our customer's problems.
• Experience from implementation is a plus
