As such, we are building the Group Digital Organization and looking for a passionate Javascript Developer to help us deliver highly scalable services and world-class product experiences for our connected appliances.
This is a technical role and will report to the Engineering Manager IoT and Platform Services and will contribute, as part of our integrated cross-functional team, to the architecture, design, implementation and delivery of IoT Platform Services. The position requires strong software development as well as communication and team skills.
As an Backend Developer you will be responsible for the development of components and services used to deliver mission-critical platform features. You will work in a fast-paced environment of continuous change, innovation and experimentation. You will work with established and cutting-edge technologies to build on our micro-service Cloud architecture. You must demonstrate mastery in one or more of these technologies and be an expert in highly scalable consumer-facing products.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, ICT or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience as Javascript Developer
• Experience with Javascript, Nodejs, Express, TypeScript, Mocha, Chai
• Components: Kafka, Mongodb, Redis
• Platforms: Google Cloud (Cloud functions, Buckets), AWS, k8s
• Experience working in an enterprise company is merited
• Experience working with commercial products company is merited
• Fluent in English
