It is based on many years of research at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS). Our customers are multinational companies selling complex products such as machinery, fans, pumps, lifts, trucks, industrial gates, medical and biochemical equipment, telephone exchanges, software, etc.
We are now looking for DEVELOPERS for Tacton ConfiguratorT!

Tacton Systems currently has 40 employees, but is recruiting in order to meet the demand for our award-winning sales configurator software - Tacton ConfiguratorT.
Job description
As a systems developer with us, you will be working on developing comprehensive solutions based on our Configurator. This will include pure applications development, and integration with other systems (such as e-commerce, sales support, ERP, product handling and CAD systems).
The work is done in the form of projects, mostly at our office, but also on site with customers, so there will be some business travel.
An important objective in our work is to work closely with our customers, in order to create the best possible solutions to enhance their operational efficiency.
We are looking for people who have/are:
• Excellent programming skills in Java/J2EE and/or .NET, preferably on Web-based systems.
• A higher engineering/computer science degree or equivalent skills.
• Familiarity with databases and web design would be a plus.
• Familiarity with Solid Works would be a plus.
• Very good knowledge of both spoken and written English. German, Japanese, French or Italian would be a plus.
• Experience of consultancy work would be a plus.
• Able to communicate easily with other people, you like to be stretched, and want to develop your skills.
