About the role:
As an software engineer in our agile teams you will work with experienced developers who are experts in video and audio and networking systems. You will help the team to develop innovative products that enable our customers to deliver reliable high quality live media across the globe.
The team / Tasks:
As a software engineer in our team, you will be working with development and maintenance of Nimbra Vision, Net Insight's network management system. The responsibilities of the team consist of most disciplines related to the product such as backlog planning (together with Product Management), design, implementation, testing, user documentation, and third line support.
As a member of the team, you will work in all areas related to development, both in frontend and backend. The type of tasks will vary over time and depend on what stories we currently include in the sprint, and also on your own skill set, but it is expected that you will be able to contribute in all areas.

Tech-stack:
The backend includes communications with devices in the network, database persistence, and business logic that implements the functionality of the NMS. For this we are using data communication protocols (REST, SNMP, ...), database access (MariaDB, SQL), Java. The frontend includes implementation of the web-based client providing user interface to the application. This includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

We think you are a team player with an agile mindset who has a passion for tech and modern Java development. You enjoy taking responsibility, from the requirement phase to deployment.

• Web technology: HTTP, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Tomcat
• Databases: MariaDB/MySQL, hibernate
