Future needs regarding digitalisation to ensure functional safety and competitiveness are being met by improving the workflow of the development of Scania's Electrical/Embedded systems within R&D. By joining us, you will take part in an exciting journey towards higher level of digitalisation to continue deliver safe and efficient vehicles despite the increased complexity in our products. One of our goals within tools development is to provide an integrated and seamless tool chain to support the lifecycle of Scania products and services.

Your role

You will work with Polarion ALM, a commercial tool from Siemens. The goal with Polarion is to enable digitalization and standardization of R&D methods through tool support. Our aim is to make it easy for the end user to do right and in accordance to our management system. With Polarion we provide a solution to requirements handling, mitigating and managing risk as well as an integration to other tools in our tool chain to supports functional safety and complies with standards and legislations such as R155 (cyber security).

You will be part of an agile team that is responsible for all elements of application development. The team use agile methodology with sprints, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives in close collaboration with appointed product owner. You will also work close to our method developers and stakeholders to create the solution together.

The team is Managing, Configuring and Developing the Polarion ALM web-based tool. You will work with test development, configuring and maintaining and also write extensions and scripts that add functionality to the system.

Your profile

We are looking for you who:

• Has a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in computer science (or similar)
• Has at least 5 years of working experience
• Has previous experience from system development in Java, JavaScript or similar
• Has experience of or interest in taking lead in end user testing
• Are interested in or has experience from systems engineering and requirements for embedded systems within the automotive industry
• Is actively looking for business understanding and has a genuine interest of the end result and customer satisfaction
• Has social skills in combination with communication skills, to be able to handle discussions with other R&D functions regarding Polarion structure and usage
• Likes to collaborate with colleagues and enjoys dialogues and discussions to find the best solutions
• Has experience in and appreciate agile working methods

It is an advantage and very meritorious if you are familiar with

• Embedded development within Scania
• Polarion or other equivalent ALM system
• ISO26262 or similar
