We offer an exciting and challenging role as Java Developer in a company where IT is the core business and at the heart of the organization.
In order to cope with high demands in response time, availability and up time put on us by our customers we have developed a modularized platform with real time systems and back office services. The real time systems are focused on short response time, availability, redundancy, security and scalability. The challenges put on the back office systems require focus on handling large amount of data, database optimization and producing reports. Due to the mix of old and modern systems we work we offer a challenging position in a complex environment. Our products can be integrated with banks and credit card providers all over the world and we can also offer tailor made solutions to our customers.
About the position
You will be working in a team of Developers, QA and project managers. The teams are often international with members from different countries and speaking different languages. Fluency in English is therefore a requirement.
The teams are using an agile method based on SCRUM which means that you will be part of the entire development cycle, ranging from requirement gathering, technical design, estimation as well as unit testing. Depending on which field you wish to focus on you will be able to be a part of the enhancement of our internal development process to implement new development processes and tools. Skills and experience
• A few years experience working as a software Developer
• At least two years of studies in Computer Sciences at University level or equivalent education level
• Experience in Java SE/EE, SQL, Unix and Linux
• Fluency in English both in writing and orally
Merits
• Experience in payment solutions, financial systems or large scale E-commerce solutions
• Experience in SCRUM or other Agile development methods
• Spring, Web Services, Hibernate, Real time development/Concurrency
• Test driven development
• Cryptography
• C#, PHP, Groovy or similar modern languages
• HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
• Git
