Randstad Technologies is looking for a Java Developer to our Stockholm based client active within streaming and media services.
We are looking for a backend engineer, experienced primarily with Java 8+ and secondarily with Rust.
For this assignment you can work as a hired consultant for Randstad Technologies or as a subcontractor.

Responsibilities
Evolve, scale and platformise the client's tooling for live events
Work with our operation teams to improve the tooling user experience;
Work with squads across the organization to develop the platform;
Be hands on and deliver on complex backend tasks.
Qualifications
You are experienced with Java 8+, and have an intermediate to advanced understanding of distributed, high-volume services, JVM concepts and architecture patterns
Some experience with Rust is preferred
You are deeply familiar with SQL-like languages and relational databases.
You have experience designing, implementing and scaling cloud-native software components on providers like AWS or GCP is highly desirable.
