We are looking for a dynamic team member to strengthen our team in Lund, someone who are used to taking initiatives, organizing your work, making priorities and challenge and move things forward. An experienced and enthusiastic developer that really burn for SW development, a good team player who puts the team first.
What you will do from day to day:
The wide range of assignments will give you the opportunity to influence your daily work life.
Variety of tasks such as software development, investigations, analysis, "Proof of concept" studies.
Discuss with team members, inspire and be inspired.
Who are we?
We are a part of Sony Software Center in Lund, specialists in SW update domain. Today, we work with services to upgrade and configure Xperia phones for different types of users such as end users, service centers, factories, and operators.
Our services are used 24/7 worldwide, with the great demands on availability, functionality, and quality.
The team works independently to ensure that these requirements are met, secures technology and functionality for the future, and ensures quality.
The phone market has had this need for these services for a long time, so we have great domain knowledge in the area, other products now have the same needs, and we strive to offer our services to other Sony products.
The team you will work in is very skilled and organized, engineers who are eager to keep up with new technologies, tools and methods. Team consists of team lead, architect, test engineer, developers (GUI / backend development).
We have an open climate and we value and believe that good team spirit is the key to success.
Competences we are looking for:
• At least 3 years of work experience from system development.
• Expert in Java development and Java technologies, focus on server technologies. (Knowledge from Spring Boot and PostgreSQL are a plus).
• Good knowledge of client - server development.
• Merit with knowledge in frontend development and AWS.
• Language skills in written and spoken English.
