Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a Java developer, you develop components/modules and microservices for Centevos applications targeting the finance industry. Initially, you work with moving an existing application from one hosting platform to another. The move involves programming with modern components such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Docker and Kubernetes as well as developing new components to support the new hosting infrastructure. In short, the rebuilding focus is on gaps that will arise when certain pieces rest on the old platform. The work also includes migration of customers who are connected to the old infrastructure.
Furthermore, you identify, troubleshoot and debug defects in the designated application code. You contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and propose solutions to anticipated problems. You support continuous improvements by investigating alternatives and technologies and present these for architectural review. Lastly you confirm program operation by conducting tests and provide technical documentation.
Centevo currently works in SCRUM teams, primarily with Jira and Confluence. However, in the long run they want to develop their DevOps methodology. The idea is to change the classic way of working to having you as a developer engaged throughout the whole process. You follow the work process from beginning to end, for example by a method called One Piece Flow. Depending on your experience, you therefore have the opportunity to contribute as a SCRUM master or team lead.
Utbildning, Erfarenhet och personliga egenskaper:
• Relevant post-secondary education
• At least two years' work experience as Java developer
• Very good knowledge in Java
• Fluent English, both orally and in writing
Meritorious
• Fluent Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge within C#, DevOps, JavaScript, React
• Experience from fintech or an economic interest
• Team Lead or Scrum Master experience
• Experience from architecture
