As a Backend Java Engineer at Nasdaq you will be a member of the Nasdaq Central Securities Depositories (CSD) team that is tasked with delivering a highly sophisticated enterprise application for CSD in markets globally.

In this role you will work in tight collaboration with Business Analysts, Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to secure successful, efficient, and qualitative delivery of our enterprise application for CSD in markets globally.

Your responsibilities:

* You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle, from design, implementation & testing to release & deployment to monitoring & troubleshooting to maintenance & enhancement.
* You will work in close cooperation with our customers in all phases of the projects. You will have an increased scope to influence the end product.

Who you are:

* Several years of experience developing Java applications
* Bachelor or similar degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering
* Knowledge within Java 8, J2EE, Spring and PostgreSQL
* Nice to have: Restm Soap, EJB3.1, CDI, JPA, Hibernate, C#, .NET, Oracle, Wildfly/eAP, Message oriented Middleware (eg. Active MQ, or Git)
