Assignment Description:
We are seeking a seeking a long-term resource with potential for extension. As a Java Developer, you will be a part of the B2B CRM and Landlord team responsible for delivering continuous improvements, support, and incident handling for Salesforce and Landlord users. Your primary stakeholders will be Sales, Service, and Marketing teams, with whom you will closely collaborate. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process, from requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
The team follows a DevOps model and has a full-stack scope, covering web and backend development. They are responsible for the complete development chain, including code deployment and maintenance in production. The team values collaboration, innovative thinking, and delivering high-quality solutions in accordance with established guidelines.
What you'll do:
• Perform development for Landlord (Java) and Salesforce in a Scrum-inspired setup, based on priorities defined by the Product Owner.
• Act as a mentor and sounding board for junior developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business, functional, and technical requirements, and actively participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Utilize best practices for operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes on the Salesforce platform.
• Adhere to the defined workflow for incident updates, requests, changes, problems, etc.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to end users for bug fixes, enhancements, and "how-to" queries.
Who you are:
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Kotlin.
• Experience with GIT for version control.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservice architecture.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, including stakeholder management.
• Previous experience working in maintenance and Agile teams.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II.
• Hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform and projects.
• Software engineering skills with Lightning Platform (LWC, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing).
• Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration and object-oriented design patterns.
• Frontend development experience is appreciated.
