Role responsibilities
Write software for our core business exposed as REST APIs
Design and implement API endpoints; full responsibility within the team to drive decisions about design, technology and architecture
Work with other teams within the products department across the business to improve business processes
Eager to discover and work with cutting edge technologies and apply them to improve performance, security and maintainability of our products
Professional requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum 5 years' experience of Java
Have an eye for quality and care about sound engineering practices such as automated testing.
You have experience of writing user-friendly and solid APIs
You have good understanding of data structures
Have experience with Spring framework
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Experience with SQL
It's beneficial if you:
Have experience from online marketing and/or e-commerce
Have experience with REST APIs and Spring Boot
Cloud experience, preferably AWS
Have experience with continuous deployment pipelines, using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible and Kubernetes
Experience with monitoring technologies such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
