As you can imagine, keeping track of over 1 000 000 connected customer assets rolling around the world is indeed a challenge. Now ponder, that vehicles in a few years will be autonomous - and you've got the challenge of your life. Our Technology team manages the development and maintenance of our global connectivity platform - and your experience is needed.
We are now looking for Java Backend Developers within Technology.
The role
Develop new software applications according to our development standards
Deploy, operate and maintain our applications incl. driving continuous improvement of the same for better quality, functionality, cost effectiveness, etc.
Actively contribute to the solution design of new services
And finally, but not the least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve
Your profile
We are looking for Java Developers with superpowers - excellent analytical skills, great at problem-solving, passionate about technology and who loves developing software applications! In this team we are curious about everything at work and have a "can do" attitude solving our challenges together, making sure to complete each sprint as planned. We would like our new colleagues to have this same curiosity, drive and being a team player.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you have:
A university degree in software engineering, computer science or similar
Some years' of working experience as Application Developer, but we also recognize experience through own hobby projects
Experience in Java 8 (or later) and Spring
Knowledge in asynchronous programming, JMS, Active MQ, micro service architecture, cloud services, test automation frameworks and React is a great plus
Fluent in English - both written and spoken
Experience from working in Sweden is expected
