About the position
This company helps customers to improve business performance by providing valuable data and analytics. As a Java Application Developer, you will be a part of a global agile tech organization and work together with developers who have great responsibility to participate and drive products and services forward with high-end technology and customer experience. The work is done in product teams, in short sprints and with Continuous Deployment. They also work cross functional and cooperative across all the organization to manage and move towards our technical vision and platform to align in the future. The office is in Stockholm, Sweden.
Responsibilities
For this role you will join Team Nasty Hamsters - an experienced and high performing team working primarily with common components. The team consist of 3 developers where one of them is tech lead, and they are supported by agile product owner and product manager. This team is part of a European context and collaborates with several different teams spread over Europe. The team is working agile in sprints where their main focus is to develop, establish and run services to be used and recycled through various stakeholders throughout the organization.
Your role includes working with central and business critical services with 100% uptime criteria. In this role you will have a mix of maintaining and extending features in third party products as well as developing supporting functions in micro service architecture using mainly Spring Boot, MySql, MongoDB, Angular with continuous integration / deployment.
Concretely this job is about:
Develop software that aims to meet the business goals and visions
Ensure delivery of services that meet performance, scalability and robustness requirements
Unit and integration tests for code and services produced
Take part in the overall strategy for IT development
Key functionality: Identity Management, Credential Management, Authentication
You will be learning and teaching from and to your colleagues, and you will also be able to develop yourself in an enterprise company with a modern tech stack run on cloud. You will be able to see, understand and learn skills and processes that go beyond just coding.

If you have experience from one or more of our technical tools including Java, Spring Boot, MySql, MongoDB, Angular, Spock, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNg that would be awesome! For our Tech roles regarding Sweden, we ask that you have a permanent residence in Sweden.
Qualifications:
High school education
Experience within backend development
Experience from working in microservices environment
Spring Boot
An understanding of several Databases
Fluent language skills in English, written and spoken
Desirable (not critical):
Experience from one or more of the technical tools including Java, Spring Boot, MySql, MongoDB, Angular, Spock, Selenium, Cucumber and TestNg
Contract type and hours
Permanent employment as a full-time consultant. Start as soon as possible.
