Poolia is seeking to recruit an Integrated Work System (IWS) Manager for Fiedler & Lundgren in Malmö (Fosie), a subsidiary to British American Tobacco, with similar responsibilities for a second site, Winnington AB based in Hökarum.

Job description
The factory in Malmö is facing a rapid changing environment (i.e. customers, machine fleet, volume, technical and marketing projects) driving the need for expanding the factory, adding production lines and resources.

The IWS Manager will implement the Integrated Work System (IWS) methodology across the two factory sites at Fiedler & Lundgren and Wellington. You will establish IWS as a standard way of working and thinking across the two factories. The IWS Manager will be a coach to Operations personnel.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Owner of the roll out plan and overall coordinator of IWS implementation
• Drive IWS knowledge transfer and training on principles and methods
• Provide direct coaching to pillar leads, line structures, cell managers and leadership team
• IWS reporting, promotion, communication and education
• Ensure tools used are being used according to the standard. Capture and replicate current Best Practices.
• Ensure the proper level of skills and qualification are present within operations to roll out and sustain IWS methodology
• Check the progress of the masterplan, business results and give appropriate advice
• Promote correct IWS behaviors and insure the business need is the driver
• Network with other sites to share and receive learning

Key success factors for the position are:

• Ability to look and plan 6 to 18 months ahead
• Able to influence employees across all levels to attain total employee engagement
• On the floor credibility with people doing the work
• Drive the delivery of the site masterplan together with all involved in the IWS structure
• Able to coach pillar leads and drive IWS renewal year after year
• Proactive and personally committed to self-development

You will report to the Operations Director.
Qualifications, skills & experience
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree from college or university, preferably with a major in engineering or in production. We believe you have at least 5 years of relevant experience within manufacturing and/or change management with a proven track record of achievements.

The prospective candidate should be one who strives for excellence whilst championing continuous change and innovation. If you have previous managerial experience will be an advantage.

Previous experience from IWS, supply chain management, Kaizen, LEAN, 6 Sigma, 5S, change and/or project management would be valuable.

Fluency in speaking and writing English and Swedish is a prerequisite.
