Purpose of the job
Perform Onboard Service, Warranty, test and commissioning assignments requested from function departments in Bombardier (GA, SA and projects e.g.)
Key responsibilities
Service and Warranty support
Available for all kind of onboard services and support to customer contracts
Onboard log analyses
Onboard HW replacements
Receive and process service and warranty requests
Execute Work orders and upgrades to the onboard ATP systems
Follow and knowledge of the onboard processes
Signing records after performed tests
Monitor and report errors in according to the NCR (CM management process)
SW installation of the ETCS onboard system
Commissioning and Routine Tests
Perform Serial tests in according to the specification
SW onboard installations
Follow and knowledge of the Serial onboard process OBSSI
Signing records after performed tests
Monitor and report errors in according to the NCR (CM management process)
Support Onboard Engineering
Support and log information during field surveys, were and how to install and receive signals from vehicles (Locos and EMU's)
Support onboard during way side commissioning
Test specification preparations
Write test specifications (TT1, TT2, TT3, Routine Test)
Verify test specifications to be released
Education
Bachelor of engineering or second upper engineering school
Relevant experience required
2 years of experience with onboard test or commissioning or electrical assignments on locos, EMU's or yellow machines.
