hela Sverige For one of our Clients we are now looking for an IT-technician for an assignment in Södertälje.
Tasks which are expected will include, but not be limited to:
• Re-booting of servers
• Coordination with remote teams
• Assisting third party vendor who comes for on-site maintenance
• Physical check/monitoring of servers to check visual warnings
• Assisting in inventory control.
• Other DC coordination activities
• Check for any warning lights on all the devices in the data centre
• If any abnormal lights are found, inform the Service desk
• Loading/Unloading of back up media
• On the days when tapes have to be changed in the tape library, recycle them as per the documented Hands and Feet process and inform the Service Desk.
• On the days when tapes have to be handed over for offsite movement, hand them over to the appropriate team as per the documented process and inform Service Desk
• Check for other facilities like cooling and power
• Maintain the racks in the required condition
Qualifications:
• Clients/peripherals expert using suitable tools
• Basic knowledge of networks and operating systems (Microsoft, Linux)
• Administration of standard applications
• Basic configuration in networks
• Installations also in the context of roll-out projects
• Processing/control of IMAC calls
• Acceptance of locally reported jobs/calls and organizing entry in the trouble ticket system
• Fluent in English and Swedish
This will be an assignment as a consultant through Kelly Services starting in May and lasting for 6 weeks.
