About the Team
The Security Management function at Volvo Group IT is supporting Volvo Group in building and ensuring IT Security Compliance (and Risk) capabilities to protect our information assets. The department is one of three departments within the Enterprise IT Security that resides in Volvo Group Digital & IT. We work across the whole Volvo Group and report to the Volvo Group CDO. Joining our skilled team will give you an opportunity to work closely together with passionate colleagues in a global context, which will develop you both on a personal and professional level. As part of our team, you play an important role in building our organization and you will be heavily involved in the development of the IT Risk & Compliance area. In this role you will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders inside the Volvo Group as well as with Volvo Group partners and suppliers.

Position Summary
In the role as an IT Security & Risk Officer in the Security management team you will be one of the key drivers for the compliance and risk areas in the IT Security domain for the Volvo Group. You together with the team will be initiating and driving risk & compliance activities such as (assessments, reviews, monitoring and reporting) regarding Volvo Group IT Security Directives and Requirements. In this position you will play a significant role in further developing our ways of working towards automation and efficiency in the IT Risk & Compliance Area.
Essential Job Duties
Support and enable risk & control owners to mitigate IT security risk by providing expertise and consultation in the planning, design, implementation, operation, maintenance & remediation of control activities and other supporting requirements
Monitor effectiveness of IT security Measures and report on IT security compliance related metrics
Initiate and drive compliance activities related to Volvo Group IT security Directives and Requirements
Educate, guide and advise Digital & IT community on IT security compliance
Represent Group Digital & IT in Risk & compliance networks and forums, both internally and with suppliers/partners
Leverage existing/new tools along with work experience and collaborative relationships to drive process efficiency and automation in the IT security compliance Area
Support in the planning, execution and reporting of the annual IT Controls Evaluation Program
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Some years of professional experience within risk, assurance, compliance and audits in the IT area
Understanding of information security best practices
Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, business and functional representatives, IT and technical representatives and vendors/partners
Good verbal and written communication skills
Extra advantage if you have a personal IT Security Certification, such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP or equivalent.
