THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
The HIPT team for Vehicle connectivity are responsible for rigs, hardware and integration of testing. The team consist of six experienced individuals with focus on different parts of the Hardware and Integration platform. Some have been part of the team for a long time and some have recently joined but as a team we are all enjoying each other's company. And now we have a place for you.
We have an agile mindset and use a Kanban board to plan our daily tasks. The most important aim for the team is to keep the test environments up and running as well as secured.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Keep track of needs from the agile release train
Follow up with suppliers like HCL, Volvo IT,
Follow up with MS Azure
Make Shure that we fulfil the security guidelines
Improve strategy around integration of HW components
Secure our IT-Lab
Improve performance of the CI machinery
Reduce manual steps in the build process
Produce good ways to monitor quality
Keep build environment up and running
Work together with tools teams to enhance the tool support
Train and support development teams in use of build tools
WHO ARE YOU?
We expect you to have a solid background within a BSc/BA in information technology or computer science is preferably working as an IT coordinator or equivalent
As a person, you can successfully deal with other people and can diplomatically convey why you prioritize as you do. You are systematic and always go to the bottom of a problem to find the best solution You have strong communicational and interpersonal skills, showing excellent organization and coordination abilities with attention to details.
We want you to have automotive experience, preferably connected with connectivity, if you also have experience within software development, it will facilitate your understanding of the product.
Fluent English is a must, be also handling Swedish at moderate level is required
Merit is:
Proven experience as IT coordinator or similar role
Knowledge about Volvo Cooperate Network inc Security Zone concept.
Experience of Working in Enterprise Network Environments
Firewall Knowledge
Cisco Knowledge
Knowledge about Lab. environnements or Datacenter environnements
Experience in network management and help desk support is appreciated
Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications
Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) is a plus and advantage
