The role ...
• as Test manager for Battery Production, a cornerstone in Scania's eMobility program, you will plan and follow up tests but also together with both business, IT and suppliers execute tests of different kinds and share the result with stakeholders within Scania.
You will be a part of both projects and maintenance and work in different teams with different task but always with the quality of the delivery in mind. In a later stage you will also support us in test automation and set a strategy for what, how and if we could automate.
We work close to robots and industrial equipment and need to physical be on site during test execution. You as a test manager will have daily test meetings at the shopfloor as well as workshops in the office to understand test needs in new initiatives. You must understand that this job require on site presence most of the time.
You will ...
• work primarily with the battery production unit but also work close to other areas connected to the battery production to secure processes to and from production. You will also work with different development teams to verify the completeness and functionality of different deliveries.
You will also support the Battery Production when buying new equipment to verify connectivity and signal exchange, this job could be at suppliers site or at our office depending on situation.
As a key member of the team focusing on battery production you will work closely with Business stakeholders and as this is a cross-functional role you will work with other IT stakeholders including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Line Managers, Product Owners, etc., and resources in other Scania IT departments. A collaborative mindset is how you will ensure the business needs, architecture perspectives and standards are fully considered and secured in the IT solution at the battery factory.
You have ...
• worked as a test manager at least 1 year and want to grow in that role
• worked with manual testing but have knowledge about test automation.
• worked with creation of test cases for different purposes
• Is skilled with structure and find ways to visualise status of tests
• the ability to explain different views of testing at different levels, from simple to complex depending on the need and audience
• good communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish
Experience with ERP, MES and SCADA systems and the impact of Industry 4.0 is meritorious.
