NetSat AB is a Swedish IT company whose main service for the past year has been to serve customers with a complete IPTV solution. We are offering cross-country free to air TV channels which wouldn't otherwise be in the range of local satellite dishes. We have ambitions to expand our current offerings across the different continents within the year.

We are a young IPTV company in the process of aggressive expansion. Applicant would be part of a very small group at NetSat AB in a startup-like environment. Applicant must have a breadth of knowledge in technical topics including programming, networking, deployment, etc. Applicant must be prepared to apply night-time deployment and be prepared to have to deal with potential critical issues arising outside standard working hours.
The company has ambitions to expand into offerring other services (VPN, VPS) during the coming year after building a reliable back-end, opening up additional areas for further professional development.

Applicant must be detail-driven and be able to prioritize tasks.
Applicant must be able to work well under pressure especially during the first couple of months where they also have to familiarize themselves with our current system.

Strong organizational, leadership and problem solving skills are required.

We are located in Kista, northern Stockholm. NetSat AB's target market is spread across Europe meaning we have some infrastructure outside Sweden. Applicant has to be willing and flexible enough to occasionally travel for short periods to deploy/maintain infrastructure outside of Sweden.

NetSat AB should be an enticing working environment for an applicant who's interested in working in a startup-like environment and interested in being exposed to and involved in several different systems and technologies

Required background:
• Passionate about our projects and self-driven.
• Excellent [English] communication skills (Clearly documents all their work + verbal fluency)
• Knowledge in scripting languages (bash / python / php)
• Knowledge in web development (javascript /css / php)
• A Linux environment must be second nature to the applicant.
• Database design
• Comfortable with networking concepts
• Eager to dive into potentially unfamiliar territory.

Additional useful skills:
• Swedish language
• Experience designing and maintaining networking systems
• Experience with multicast
• Experience with system administration
• Experience with deployment of projects with scalability in mind.
• Experience in Android development
• Be a fast learner
• C/C++ development on embedded systems (IPTV boxes etc)
