ESAB Perstorp manufactures welding electrodes and distribute these quality products at the right time and in the right quantity to our customers, we are about 180 employees. We are located in Perstorp, Skåne.
As an IT Site Technician at ESAB Perstorp, you will provide technical support on-site and remotely, ensuring smooth operations of IT infrastructure and applications.
Respond to technical support inquiries via telephone, tickets, and email.
Prioritize and document issues in the ticketing system.
Escalate tickets promptly and correctly.
Develop standards and procedures for owned applications and technology.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows Clients, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Active Directory and more.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production related systems like labeling systems, stop-time recording systems and automation systems (ABB 800xA).
Lead technical projects and participate in ESAB Global IT Projects.
Collaborate with the local team and ESAB IT community to proactively identify and resolve problems.
Manage hardware deliveries, moves, client installations as well as advanced software installations and upgrades.
Maintain licenses, warranties, inventories, repairs and system documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and conduct periodic audits of hardware and software resources.
On-call availability for production or systems incidents/project work.
Travel to other ESAB locations for Project or Support Activities if required.
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science or informatics or equivalent experience
2-4 years of desktop/systems support experience.
Fluent in both Swedish and English.
VPN support background
ITIL practices experience is preferable.
Familiarity with MS Windows, MS Office 365, Active Directory, and basic network understanding.
Basic network understanding with switching and wireless / Ability to assist in troubleshooting technical and complex computer/network related issues.
Strong customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment
