Job Overview:
We are currently seeking four IT technicians to join our client, the Police Authority, in Gothenburg, Sweden. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of various hardware and providing support for IT equipment. You will primarily focus on the replacement of mobile devices and computers, while also handling minor support requests related to these devices.
Assignment Description:
Perform lifecycle management of various hardware and handle minor support requests. We are seeking 4 consultants who will primarily work on the replacement of mobile devices and computers, possibly also handling simpler support requests related to them. They will be part of our existing technician teams and will be trained by them, receiving guidance and support from our current staff. It is essential in this role to prioritize providing excellent support to our users, and the team will teach them the necessary technical skills.
The assignment will be based in Gothenburg, but in the future, the requested consultants may be required to travel to other locations such as Malmö, Linköping, and other places where hardware replacement is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform lifecycle management of hardware.
• Replace mobile devices and computers.
• Provide support for IT equipment.
• Collaborate with existing technician teams.
• Receive training, guidance, and support from senior staff.
• Prioritize delivering excellent support to users.
• Acquire necessary technical skills through team mentorship.
Qualifications:
Essential:
• Completed at least IT high school and a strong desire to pursue a career in IT.
• Passion for IT and technology.
• Willingness to assist others with their equipment.
• Service-oriented mindset and strong teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment and self-motivation.
• Valid B driver's license and driving experience.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in Swedish.
• Willingness to travel, including extended weekly trips to various locations as needed.
Preferred:
• Previous experience working within the Police Authority.
Security Process:
The Police Authority places a high priority on security and confidentiality. Selected candidates may be required to undergo a security clearance process, including a background check and signing a security protection agreement as per the Security Protection Act (2018:585). In some cases, Swedish citizenship may be necessary.
