The Position Due to continued expansion, The British International School of Stockholm wishes to employ a qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated IT Technician to provide frontline technical helpdesk support for both staff and students. BISS is making a significant investment in hardware, systems and professional development to transform its IT landscape. The RoleFull details of the role can be found in the IT Technician Job Description on our website at:http://www.bisstockholm.se/non-teaching-vacancies/ The successful candidates will have:· A good working knowledge of SQL and ideally SSRS · Experience of client/server based networks with TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls and switches · Good 'people skills' · A solutions minded approach with an ability to use initiative and be innovative · The ability to support and train other colleagues· Proven experience of working in a Google environment (desirable)· Knowledge and experience of working in an educational environment (desirable) In addition, applicants should be eligible to live and work in Sweden.The SchoolThe British International School of Stockholm is situated across a split site in Djursholm, a beautiful suburb of Stockholm.
