We are looking for an IT Technician who wants to work with support through calls, as well as cases via e-mail and case management systems from colleagues in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Work tasks

- Answering of the helpdesk telephone, ticket creation, 1st line call handling, ticket resolution.
- Provide onsite and remote support to users, including resolving hardware and software issues.
- Set up, configure and install new PC's and associated equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide 1st line support for network infrastructure equipment, including network switches and routers.
- Adhering to KPI's and SLA's.
- Assist with the implementation of new server and network infrastructure hardware.
- Administration of Active Directory, Groups, Permissions and Group Policy Management.
- Administration of Virtual Centre Infrastructure.
- Occasional need to work off site at Eurofins locations within the Nordics.
- Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
- Possible participation in an on call/standby service outside office hours.
- Actively participate in complex technical projects, which may mean occasional out of hours and weekend work.
- Coordinate and execute relocation projects.
- Prepare technical proposals for improvement together with the line manager.
- Responsible for the monitoring and administration of backups on a daily basis.
- Ensure all PC's and laptops are up to date with security updates via WSUS console and Anti-virus consoles.
- To partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company Standard.
- Responsible for promoting a professional image of the Company and for complying with the Company's Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies at all times, including work related events which take place outside normal working hours.
- Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Security Regulations.
- Read and comply with Company rules, procedures, agreements and any notices displayed by the Company throughout your location.

Qualifications
In addition to having a relevant education, you are also having at least 2 years of experience in supporting Windows XP, 7, 10. You are also experienced in the maintenance of hardware such as PC, printers and other similar equipment. Additionally, we also see that you have experience with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016 regarding work and maintenance of AD, password management, and more. Since our IT organization is Nordic, you master at least one of our Nordic languages very well. You also master English on a high level in speech and writing.

Qualifications that will give you an advantage:

- ITIL Certification
- Microsoft Certification
- Cisco Certification

Profile
As a person, you are communicative, both in speech and in writing. You can independently plan, prioritize and organize your work and have a high customer focus. You should not only be able to solve the technical parts of the problems but also in dialogue with the user to guide and to some extent educate the user. It is therefore important that you are social, educational and can convey your knowledge in the IT field.

Terms
Individual / market pay is applied. Travel in Sweden as well as to our Nordic neighbors occurs. The job also includes some emergency preparedness.
