Job Descriptions
In the role as an IT Technician you will work with technical work in a project orientated business. You will mainly be focusing on projects, incidents and request coming from the Nordic region, but if needed, you will corporate with colleagues worldwide.
You must be able to work and act in the role of both 2nd level Analyst and a 3rd level Analyst/Technician. This responsibility requires very good analytical skills for trouble-shooting, but at the same time it is equally important that you are social, educational, and can convey your knowledge in the IT field to your colleagues and our end users.
You must be structured in your approach, have impressive technical skills and you'll be able to speak with people rather than â'at' them. You'll need to be adaptable and relish solving technical problems with effective and timely solutions.
Travel at work will occur and you should expect approx. one week per month on a different location.
You will need strong VMWare virtualisation and SAN storage skills encompassing the following, which are listed in order of priority:
Profile
• ESX environment management
• SAN management
• Server management
• Network management
• Windows 7 desktop management
Experience with large IT installations is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written English skills are required.
Personal qualities
In order to fit into this role you need to be service minded, curious and structured. In addition to solving the technical aspects of the problems, it's equally important that you are capable of guiding users, and to some extent educate the user. Social and educational skills are therefore of great importance in order for you to perform well in this position.

Conditions
The position is a full time employment; the salary will be based on individual qualifications.
Main location will be our site in Lidköping.
