Within a growing, ambitious and innovative company, a new and exciting opportunity exists for hands on IT Team Leader based in the Gothenburg Sweden. You will be responsible for managing the IT department and the implementing of new processes & procedures in software development and ecommerce while acting as hands on technical lead.
The successful candidate must be a proficient problem solver and possess skills within the fields of.
• Windows & Windows Servers.
• Advanced Linux.
• VMWare Server/ESX/Infrastructure.
• Backup maintenance.
Experience within IT/Computer security and different encryption systems are preferred.
As IT Team Leader you will exhibit the ability to absorb and apply new ideas effectively, relish technical challenges and will be able to work well both individually and as part of a team. With your good communication skills, you should be motivated and determined to meet tight deadlines and budgets without compromising quality. It is an advantage if you possess previous experience as a Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team management.
• Escalation point for higher management.
• Management and development of the Windows technical and specialist engineering teams.
• Creation, configuration and system administration of all Windows and environments across the business.
• Provide management advice and guidance regarding infrastructure and platform related matters.
• Provide advice to management with regards to roadmaps for the environment - including hardware technologies, OS and applications.
• Develop IT initiatives to improve cost and efficiency within the business and infrastructure.
• Responsible for platform security.
• Manage relationship with 3rd party support companies, providing SLA and KPI information.
