Nexus is a global security company active in identity and access solutions. We secure society by enabling trusted identities for people and things in the physical and digital world. Our clients include large- and medium-sized businesses, local authorities, as well as organizations that rely on the latest information technologies to manage sensitive information and data.
We are now in the process of strengthen our Internal IT team and are therefore looking for an IT Systems Administrator that will join us in our journey of constant improvement.
You will join our office in Stockholm, Telefonplan, or in Umeå.
What will you be doing at Nexus?
As an IT Systems administrator at Nexus you will be working both with IT-administration such as taking care of issues and systems within all areas, as well as being responsible for the "digital workplace" in our environment. Being responsible for an area means that you make sure that it is modern and is working as it should. You are also responsible for keeping instructions and documentation regarding your area up to date and staying on top of the knowledge there is to have within this area and share with your colleagues.
Since we want to build a top-of-class and modern IT environment you must be dedicated in finding needs of improvements in our environment.
The role in bullets
• Build and take responsibility for the digital workplace within Nexus globally
• Work with maintenance and improvements within your area of responsibility.
• Keep system documentation up to date.
• Work with common second- and third-line tickets, that may include: - Manage and troubleshot Windows and Virtual environment (VMware)
• Manage and troubleshot AD/Azure AD and DNS
• Manage and troubleshot Network and security (Cisco Meraki)
• Manage and troubleshot cloud services (Office365, Azure, etc.)
• Manage and troubleshot other internal systems
• Continuously work with improving security in our environment.
Who are you?
Due to the complex nature of our environment we think it is important that you are an experienced IT Systems administrator from a high-tech industry. You have an IT education from university or similar. You have been working in an IT department as a system administrator or as an IT consultant for a couple of years and would like to take next step. If you have worked in the security industry or in a company with developers, that is a great advantage.
Your main motivator is finding creative solutions for business needs and make sure that we constantly improve. You love structure, order and to make sure that the areas and systems you are responsible for are up to date, are working properly and are secure. Since you will have a lot of contact with our users in different countries you need good communication skills and must be able to explain a complex problem in an easy way. We believe your mindset and way of working is well aligned with the Nexus Principle's (
https://www.nexusgroup.com/about-nexus/).You like to take responsibility and finish things that you start. Experience in platforms like Windows, Intune and Office 365 is a must. You also need to have knowledge in the basic components of an IT infrastructure, which includes PowerShell, Identity management, AD/Azure AD, DNS/DHCP, Networking, Virtualization and a good understanding of IT-security and its demands on the IT-environment. Knowledge in Linux, Databases and/or PKI is a great advantage.

We work in a global environment and you will collaborate with colleagues from different countries and need to be able to communicate unhindered in English and we believe it is a merit if you also understand Swedish.
