ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking an IT System Administrator to our office in Malmö, Sweden. Our vision is to enable airports to operate more safely, efficiently and sustainably and our mission is to provide our customers with superior airport performance from landing to departure.
The IT System Administrator in Malmö is responsible for the IT infrastructure and services hosted and provided from Sweden. The IT System Administrator will participate in and lead IT Operations project locally and regionally. All members within IT Operations also share a mission to deliver professional, high quality support to our colleagues and end users.
Your daily tasks
• Manage the daily operation and maintenance of IT hardware and services within Sweden.
• Monitor and manage backup, patching etc. of local data centres.
• Administrate user PC deployments and maintain IT licenses.
• Participate/lead IT Operations projects and budgets
• Implement and maintain IT policies related to IT Operations regarding infrastructure and security.
You as a person
You are a driven, goal-oriented and solve your tasks with an understanding of the impact it has on the users. You are independent, good at communication, enjoy working with people and like working in different cultural environments. You have the ability to learn new things and adapt new technical environments. You are positive and open to new challenges. You feel comfortable with leading projects and take responsibility to fulfill the tasks on time. It is important that you enjoy working both independently and in teams. You will travel 20-30 days/year.
Desired experience and background
• IT education or equivalent
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT service delivery within a global organization.
• Successful experience in IT service and support delivery.
• Experience of end user support at different levels.
• Experience of participation and/or lead in IT Operations projects.
• Experience in working with Microsoft tools & services (Windows server, Windows client OS, Office 365, Azure)
• Network technologies (WAN, LAN, WLAN)
• Data centre technologies (VMware, HyperV)
• Fluently speaking and writing in English. Swedish is a strong merit.
