Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is the owner and worldwide franchisor of the IKEA Concept. All IKEA retailers operate under franchise agreements with Inter IKEA Systems B.V. Our IT Helpdesk is responsible for providing World Class IT Support to the Inter IKEA Systems businesses, distributors, users and franchisees. We will do this by offering professional and service minded support based on defined Service Level Agreements so that we are the obvious choice in your IT support needs.
We are now looking for a IT Helpdesk Technician to support our whole organisation with IT related questions.
• Monitor all open support cases, escalate if necessary and keep the end user informed about the
solving process.
• Strive for a goal of an 100% solution rate within time frame.
• Perform all daily tasks according to set processes, rules and guidelines.
• Share knowledge with colleagues (knowledge base, standard solutions, IT processes)
• Working according to the planning and guidance if the IT Helpdesk Manager.
You should have knowledge and understanding of client and server technologies, mainly from the Microsoft Windows environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of the major desktop components/interfaces and their functions.
• Knowledge and understanding of hardware components and their functions.
• Knowledge and understanding of ITIL.
• Knowledge and experience from an T environment - within or outside IKEA.
• Knowledge and experience from a business environment - within or outside IKEA.
When it comes to experience we want you to have at least 3 years IT Helpdesk experience.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to prioritise multiple projects and tasks and meet guidelines and deadlines.
• All round analytical skills.
• Conflict management skills.
• Being an ambassador for the IT Unit.
You as a person should be social and service minded team player with a great interest in IT.
• Service with a smile, put the end-user need in focus.
• A self-starter, shows initiative and takes responsibility.
• Enjoys working in a mulicultural and international environment.
