hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Fredrik Nyman i Stockholm Publiceringsdatum2015-07-03Dina arbetsuppgifterAs internal IT you will manage parts of our internal Linux server and network infrastructure, office facility management and end-user support for Windows and Mac environment, including tasks such as installing and configuring computers and printers, creating accounts and helping out with various IT related incidents. You need to be well acquainted with the Linux operating system and Ubuntu/Debian distributions including Xen hypervisors. Some of the systems we use includes Astrix IP, OpenVPN, BIND, Apache, OpenLDAP and samba. Shell scripting in bash and Python is commonly used. As support technician you will be the important link between our customers and R&D teams to provide resolution to questions and problems discovered in the field. In this role you are the front end interface to our customers and partners. Your task is to ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution to any problem reported by customers and to assist our current TAC and R&D in qualification of reported issues. This includes working in lab environment to reproduce problems experienced by customers. This role requires good understanding of TCP/IP networking and routing but you will learn a lot about advanced networking concepts. Job responsibilities include: Internal Linux server operation; backup, maintenance, upgrades, security patches Deployment of new server features, virtualization and creating/controlling user-accounts for internal and external users Management of firewall and VPN connections Support for internal end-users on Windows and Mac platforms Facility management; alarm systems, access cards, lab infrastructure (power and cooling) Monitoring of ticket handling system (OTRS) and respond to incoming tickets meeting SLAs Interacting by phone/e-mail with customers to collect additional information for troubleshooting and responding to queries Interacting with R&D team regarding troubleshooting Interacting with TAC team regarding troubleshooting Performing network simulation and problem replication tasks in lab environment to assist troubleshooting efforts
