Our Founder and CEO, Mehrdad Mahdjoubi, developed the world's most advanced shower system allowing up to 90% water savings and 80% energy savings while increasing comfort and hygiene. Inspired by an academic cooperation project with NASA, the company was launched under the mentorship of Skype's Founder Niklas Zennström, and is today in a fast-growth stage. We are a growing team of over 40 at our Malmö Headquarters and have expanded into Denmark, Norway, Germany and the US with the vision to create a new paradigm in daily water usage.
We are now building an internal IT team that will provide technical support to our employees worldwide. You will be responsible for maintaining office IT infrastructure and developing and administering internal systems. The ORBITAL SYSTEMS desktop environment is primarily OS X based. We rely heavily on web-based services and our infrastructure is quite unique; you will have the opportunity to work with new and interesting technologies.
What you'll do
• Give personal support on hardware and software problems to fellow employees.
• Administration of IT systems such as email and centralised user management.
• Make sure printers and other IT related equipment is functioning for all employees.
• Design and execute projects to improve systems and operations.
• Document support and operations processes.
• Purchasing hardware and software.
Who are we looking for?
• You have experience in supporting OS X and Windows based systems and love to give personal support to help users solve technical problems.
• You have knowledge of client and software deployment.
• You have a basic understanding of Linux and have exposure to scripting and terminal use.
• You articulate yourself well in English, vocally and in writing.
• You are a curious person and a fast learner. You enjoy diving into new technologies and tools.
• You are an analytical troubleshooter. You may not have the answer, but you want to and know how to find it.
• You are a team player that actively collaborates with people around you to find solutions to problems.
It's nice if you have:
• Any programming experience
• Linux server experience
• Created something cool that is actually up and running
