The group Strategy and Portfolio Management should steward and govern the Volvo Car Group IT Strategy Framework including the formulation of IT Strategies for the Global Operations of Volvo Car Group influencing the Organization, External Partners and Related Businesses. Align the IT Strategy with Corporate Strategy, Business Unit Strategies and Volvo Cars Group's Enterprise Architecture to create a containable and reliable short and long-term roadmap on all Business and Operational Development.
As IT Strategy Manager you drive the IT Strategy work, the governance and lead the strategic discussions within the company and towards main IT Strategy stakeholders. This role is central in the improvement and development of the IT Strategy Function.
Main responsibilities
• Lead the IT Strategy Governance
• Lead the IT Strategy dialogue with Business interfaces, IT operations Management teams ensuring proper content and direction of our Strategies
• Lead the development of the IT Strategy framework and taking an active part in developing connections to Corporate Strategy Framework and yearly Business Plan Processes
• Develop mechanisms and processes regarding Strategy Governance
• Develop interfaces with IT Strategy Stakeholders
• Be an active part in developing the IT Strategy function within Business Engagement
• Develop and deliver presentations, various models, frameworks etc with purpose to communicate requirements, needs, messages etc to both IT and business stakeholders
• Improve the effectiveness, efficiency and quality in our way of working
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent working experience
• Professional experience on a Strategic level
• Leadership skills
• Thorough understanding of Business requirements on IT Organisations and Landscape
• Thorough understanding of IT Landscape opportunities within the Corporate
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
• Skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Strategic understanding and thinking
• Ability to see the bigger picture
• Structured way of working with ability to prioritise your own work and deliver on time
