ELOG has created a state-of-the-art solution for management of international railway-based freight traffic, and offers both IT and logistics services to the European Railway market.
We are now searching for an IT Specialist for the company, to be based in our Swedish office, located in Sundbyberg.
This person should have the following merits:
• Deep and thorough knowledge in Software Development and Design based mostly on Microsoft development products, especially for web-based environments.
• At least 3 years of proven Software Development experience.
• Thorough understanding and programming capabilities with SQL based databases, especially MSSQL.
• Good development skills in VB and ASP (HTML, JScript and VBScript)
• At least basic experience in System Analyzing and System Design.
• Basic system administration knowledge (server set-up, web-server, FTP server usage, TCP/IP networks)
• Certifications for MCSD, MCAD, MCSE, or MCDBA or similar are advantages
• Experience in medium-large scale logistics web-based IT systems is an advantage
• Basic QA experience and Data Transformation understanding is an advantage
• Computer Science University degree or similar is an advantage
You should be able to work independently, assume responsibility and cooperate with your colleagues and with customers throughout Europe. You are a fast and independent learner who can both lead and be led. Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude are also essential.
The company language is English. Fluency in Swedish is welcome; Fluency in other European languages is considered a plus.
