The Resource and Capability Management team within the CIO Office has the responsibility for different areas within Group IT such as Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Software Asset Management, Capability Management and Contract Management. The group currently consists of 8 specialists with diverse competence and business backgrounds. As an IT Sourcing Specialist you have the main responsibility to secure the sourcing needs of Group IT. The IT Sourcing team will consist of 3 Sourcing Specialists and this position will report to the Senior IT Manager within Resource & Capability Management.
As IT Sourcing Specialist you will be Group IT's expert in developing, maintaining and aligning the IT Sourcing Strategy to ensure high quality IT deliveries from our suppliers. You will need to be on top of the IT market and have extensive knowledge about of the IT suppliers' capabilities, both traditional as well as non-traditional IT related suppliers. You will participate in large IT sourcing activities and negotiations in close cooperation with IT Purchasing. In this role you will also be a Key Supplier Manager for some of Group IT's main suppliers with the strategic responsibility to develop the relationship.
Main responsibilities
• In collaboration development and maintenance of the IT Sourcing Strategy
• Secure alignment of the IT Sourcing Strategy within Group IT
• Lead/participate in IT Sourcing governance forums
• Support the Group IT organization in IT Sourcing related matters
• Stay up to date with the supplier base on the traditional and non-traditional IT market
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent working experience
• Professional experience of strategic IT Sourcing at a large organization
• Extensive knowledge about the IT supplier market
• Experience of contract management and supplier management
• Good understanding of ITIL and preferably with ITIL certification
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
