As our next IT Solution Architect, you will be a part of the service area Marketing IT that supports the H&M business development and marketing department. You will primarily focus on the solutions for digital asset management and the photo studio. This is an area that is in an exciting development phase, where you will have a key role and be a part of developing new innovative solutions.
The solution is implemented in some parts of H&M business where new functionality is being implemented. In addition, there is an ongoing project to implement the solution for H&M New Business (other brands) as well.
The system development is done by an external partner and the solutions are integrated to other parts of the H&M IT application map. As IT Solution Architect you will regularly interface with business, external suppliers, end-users and other IT teams to ensure the applications are meeting the defined business objectives and operating as efficiently as possible. You will be a part of a great team that includes Project Manager, System Responsible, Requirement Analysts and Test Manager.
As IT Solution Architect you are expected to understand both the technical and functional aspects of the solutions. We are looking for you who know when to be decisive and when to be pragmatic. You pay attention to details, but without losing the general picture. You are a good communicator, flexible and like working in a team.
Your responsibilities
The job of a IT Solution Architect within the H&M group comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun.
• Maintain and develop the architectural design based on the business needs and the overall IT visions and steering principles.
• Translate the business needs into working solutions making sure the architectural principles and target architecture are followed.
• Technical and architectural analysis of requirements and impact analysis.
• Be responsible for integration architecture.
• Work in close interaction with business representatives.
• Interact with the external product provider.
• Clear communication of solution proposals to the members of the team, keep them notified about design and progress.
• Cooperate with other area architects within H&M to secure the position in the IT landscape regarding the solutions within your responsibility.
• Cooperate closely with Infrastructure and Operations architects.
• Suggest overall improvements of ways of working or to the solutions.
Your skills

And your skills include:
• Experience from working as an IT Architect, System Architect or IT Solution Architect in a large organization
• Previous experience of system development
• An interest in exploring and implementing new technologies
• Good ability to create structure, documenting and visualizing the solutions
• Experience of working closely with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and convert the business needs into IT requirements (functional, information and quality requirements)
• Good at expressing yourself and explaining complex matters in a simple way
• Enjoys working in a fast pace and is open-minded to changes
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
