Together with our partner in this recruitment, Dfind IT we are now looking for a:
IT Site Manager-Solna
The IT Site Manager at Cepheid Solna will be responsible for IT Support for the Solna (Sweden) site and acting as a liaison between various business functions and IT. The role will be responsible for coordinating with the corporate teams based out of Sunnyvale, CA in implementing best practices and taking care of the regional needs as necessary. This role will be in a matrix organization structure, providing individual contributor support for local function as well as a supervisory role for the local IT resources. The IT Site Manager will have direct line responsibility to local resources and will coordinate with corresponding corporate functional leaders - IT Infrastructure, Client Systems etc., - who'd have a dotted line responsibility to ensure global standards are appropriately established and followed.
Responsibilities
The IT Site Manager position at Cepheid Sola has a number of responsibilities that usually comes with a similar position. To mention a couple:
• Represent the IT Management locally
• Serve as a contact toward local business to identify any IT needs or challenges and report back to IT management or propose solution when possible.
• Deliver weekly/monthly KPIs report following IT Global standards and ensure all activities above meet standard Service Level agreements.
• Report regularly to General Manager and direct Supervisor through meeting and Monthly KPIS.
• Installs, configures, upgrades and maintains operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages, processes and procedures.
• Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required
• Participates in process improvement projects - both with the local business leaders as well as corporate IT functions.
• Deploy and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners, laptops, desktops and related hardware
• Works together with Service Desk and other support teams on projects and assists where needed.
• Provides remote support to remote locations
• Leads the effort to develop work processes in collaboration with Business Functions
• Continuously search for ways to increase customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• 7+ years of Infrastructure Technologies - servers, storage systems and networking
• 4+ years of Managing team of associates
• Preferred comparable experience to have managed a Site for all IT Support needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical details in terms of business context
• Languages Required: English, Swedish, French (Optional)
Travel:
• Quarterly travel to other sites in EU
• Semi-Annual travel to US Headquarters
