• Problem solving within NNM (Network Node Manager) and OVO (OpenView Operations)
• Administrate and support the OMX Systems Management tools used for global surveillance.
• Configure and design the Systems Management tools to fulfill management functions and requirements.
• Responsibility for the proactive function that the surveillance tools provide to the internal/external customers.
• Together with 2nd and 3rd level teams add new monitor functionality into production.
• Work together with 2nd and 3rd level engineering teams to enhance proactive monitoring.
• Integrate 3rd party tools in to the Systems Management tools set.
• Analyze business needs and translate it into monitoring using Systems Management tools set.
• Working together with peers in other regions.
• Help with sales bid questions/tasks regarding the Surveillance Service.
• A "doer" that physical administrate the system(s).
To suit this position you have the following qualifications:
• 3 years relevant education and 5-10 years of IT practices or experience from multiple IT areas.
• Some years of experience from working with HP OVO Operations (for UNIX) and/or Network Node Manager .
• Database administration skills, preferable Oracle and/or MS SQL.
• Good knowledge about UNIX.
• Practical and long experiences from working in technical projects (regionally and globally).
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
• Service-minded and outgoing personality.
