Now there is a challenging opportunity where we are looking for an IT Service Manager - Network & IT Infrastructure to join the growing IT team.
As the IT Service Manager - Network and IT Infrastructure you will ensure that service, support and delivery processes are setup to meet organization's needs. The technical services which falls under your responsibility includes WAN, LAN, Data Center, Storage & Backup, Network domain administration & security, Server hosting, Cloud-hosting environments etc. You will be the one with the knowledge about the technologies and trends related to enterprise networking and IT infrastructure to make sure correct decisions are being made within your area. The company operates with a focused sourcing and cloud strategy, where external partners provides most of the operational services.
In this role you will be a core member of the IT- team, where you will be the owner and caretaker of the service portfolio for the related services, including for example budgeting. Another important part of your role is to take lead in projects related to new demands or changes in the service environment. Your job is to ensure to produce communication to the organization about service status and to make sure that problem issues are managed in a professional way. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying and proposing improvement initiatives.
You will be located in Göteborg (Sweden), at the headquarter, reporting to the IT Manager. The number of people in the IT department is expected to be about 12 people. Some travel over multiple continents is to be expected.
Successful candidate profile
We are searching for a professional employee with senior experience in enterprise networking & IT infrastructure as well as service management or project management in a complex multinational environment.
Do you recognize yourself in having the below competence?
• Competence in a broad range of networking- and IT-infrastructure technologies
• Experience from service design & service management or project management
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer systems & networks (or equivalent)
• Relevant experience from participating in complex IT change initiatives and IT-operations
Teamwork is an important part and you will work closely with you colleagues in the IT department, external service providers and internal stakeholders, to ensure to create best possible outcome and continuously optimize successful implementation of IT services and great end-user experience. You are passionate about finding solutions, create new processes and exceed expectations. Strong communication skills in English and Swedish is essential for this job.
