SCA IT Services is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Developer with a software developer background to develop, maintain and support the infrastructure used for our IoT solutions.
We are looking for you who has experience, knowledge and a burning interest in software development (C#, Visual Studio), cloud-services (Azure PaaS & IoT) & general It-infrastructure (Network, Windows Server, etc.)
Primary focus for this role will be working close to our development-teams for IoT solutions supporting them with infrastructure needs in the digitally embedded products area.
This position is placed in one of our infrastructure teams, who are responsible for the infrastructure and integration of a flora of applications and systems used by SCA and our customers globally. You share responsibility for all development, maintenance, support and operations of the infrastructure in the IoT area. The team goal for this position is to ensure that the application infrastructure on the IoT and Microsoft platforms is set-up, configured, operated and maintained in an optimal way for SCA.
The position is in Gothenburg, Sweden, other locations will be considered for internal applicants and reports to the IT Manager, Platform Manager Microsoft located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Main Tasks
Development and governance of the infrastructure used for IoT solutions in close cooperation with the solution owners and application teams
Installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and administration of Azure and Windows server infrastructure used for our IoT solutions
Troubleshooting and performance tuning
Participate in IT projects with the ability to take the technical lead for the infrastructure area
Key Competencies
Required Education and Experience
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
Software developer background with knowledge and experience in C# and Visual Studio
Knowledge, experience and interest in Azure PaaS & IoT services
Solid generalist in various Microsoft technologies
Experience of application-hosting based on the Windows platform in general
Knowledge and experience of monitoring and maintaining applications in a Windows Hosting environment
Knowledge and experience in server and network infrastructure
Fluent in English
Key competencies & Leadership capabilities
Ability to work in an international environment across multiple business needs and in a true virtual team
Excellent knowledge of technical services, solutions, and products related to this position
Strong interpersonal skills
Good communication skills and ability to build an open environment
Attention to details, follow through, and ability to prioritize quickly are necessary
