www.flaktwoods.se.Fläkt Woods develops two unique, market leading web-based IT Selection Tools allowing sales people, consultants and installers located across the globe to quickly and efficiently select and configure optimal product solutions that are best suited to their needs. Fläkt Woods is now recruiting an IT Selection Tools Manager to lead and develop the concept of these IT tools.
The IT Selection Tools Manager role will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
• Translation of business requirements into technology solutions for FW selection tools
• IT development team coordination (four people) and development of processes and requirements
• Stake holder management (including R&D, product development, marketing Product managers, key customers, technical solution providers and suppliers...)
• Driving the implementation of group selection tools according to requirements defined by the business and product managers
• Project budget and planning governance, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Providing relevant training and instructions to end users, contributing to the fulfilment of corporate vision and goals
• Providing KPI, statistics and monthly reports on selection tool activities and usages.
In the role as IT selection tool manager you will report to the ACS SVP MKT & Products development. You will work closely with the Centre of Excellence IT manager, the Product Managers and R&D teams.
Profile:
The candidate should have a good knowledge of IT project management acquired from a consulting environment along with a good understanding of marketing and business needs.
Qualifications and experience required:
• University degree (engineer, systems analyst or equivalent)
• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English
• Thrives in a (internal) consultant role
• Experience of working in multicultural environments
• Entrepreneurial skills, using own initiative to identify and promote new potentials
• Proven track record of managing complex (preferably systems development) projects, hands-on
• Proven track record of stakeholder management
• Experience of team leadership preferred
Personal qualities:
• Strong social and communication skills
• Detail-orientation whilst maintaining focus on long-term goals
• As comfortable in discussing business issues as he/she is in solving systems-related challenges and project management
The job will include limited travelling (20%) mainly in Europe and occasionally in US and Asia.
