hela Sverige Do you want to participate in the formation and operation of a Security Team, working to secure assets and information with high security standards? Do you have a deep knowledge on IT Security technology, operations and the implementation of regulatory requirements? We are now looking for experienced and solid professionals with a dedicated interest and a critical eye for IT-security which want to work with both proactive as well as operational tasks.
Vattenfall IT is putting together a team of experts to provide services for a dedicated environment - Red IT. As a member of the Security Team, you will be responsible for enabling and maintaining a high overall level of IT security by operational as well as proactive activities. In performing its operational task, the team will operate as 2nd line of support by performing incident management, investigations, forensics and threat hunt activities. Side by side with its operational work the team will also be proactive by coordinating the function of the SOC, performing vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and providing advice on IT-security.
As part of the Security Team, you will provide forensic capabilities during incident management and threat hunt activities by investigating, analyzing and documenting digital events - sometimes in real time, recovering deleted or encrypted information from digital storage devices, reconstructing digital information from damaged files, and evaluating the scope of a cyber attack. As a forensic specialist, you will also assist incident management with live forensics, such as isolation of threats, and authorities to secure evidence for criminal investigations and provide testimony about digital evidence if needed. You will also take part in the proactive security activities of the team, such as locating system vulnerabilities.
Competence, experience and personal skills
• Several years of professional experience of work with forensics, or IT-security
• Several years of experience of forensic investigations
• Experience of threat hunt operations
• Good knowledge of operating systems, malware analysis, (reverse engineering)
• Deep interest in IT-security, meticulous, analytical, great curiosity for details, problem solving
